Philly based DJ and Producer Josh Wink brought back the sound of acid house back in 1995 with his still very play listed track ‘Higher State of Consciousness’, which has remained a must-have record in any self-respecting Dj’s box. Not to mention ‘Don’t Laugh’ (it’s the track with a contagious loop of someone laughing over a techno beat) which has also remained a classic. He now runs his own label Ovum Records with King Britt. Wink is invited to spin one of his unpredictable sets at Montreal’s gay hot spot at the popular Overdose Thursday night event.
