The Scottish duo Silicone Soul, signed to Slam’s Soma label, are about to release a new album, simply called ‘Silicone Soul’. They have been releasing successful dance-floor house productions since 1998 so they know how craft a good track. Their forth album combines their usual tech-house with more minimal house styles as well as some instrumental tracks more suited to home listening than to a club sound –system. This summer Craig Morrison and Graeme Reedie will be touring to promote this new release so check this space for upcoming gigs. It’s been 5 years since the legendary Belgian club Café d’Anvers released a compilation album. This time around the club has decided to launch a series of albums called ‘The Sound of The Underground’ mixed by international producers who play regularly at Anvers. The first release is selected and mixed by Scottish duo Silicone Soul. Of course the play-list includes several tracks by Silicone Soul themselves as well as tracks by David K, Zombie Zombie and Masomenos. The album release party is at Café d’Anvers on Saturday 7th Feb, and you can hear the event live on Awdio!
