Sandwiches is Seven!

Wellington’s (New Zealand) prime club Sandwiches will be celebrating its 7th Birthday on the 20th and 21st August. It’ll be a meaty double whopper with plenty of pickle but certainly no cheese. Friday features Dutch heavyweights Dem Slacker and Mightyfools and loads of local talent spinning Nu Rave and electro and Saturday gets bass heavy with dubstep and drum & bass on the menu.

Sandwiches celebrates 6 tasty years

6 year old Sandwich may not seem that appetizing but this one is still as fresh as ever. Sandwiches opened its doors in 2003 and has been bringing quality acts and events to Wellington (New Zealand) for the pas 6 years. With a varied program, ranging from local bands to international dance acts and plenty of rumbling drum n’ bass, Sandwiches has been a wonderful component within the Awdio family of clubs.  Read more

The Perfect Summer Sandwich

SummerSet is Wellington’s excellent club Sandwiches‘ way of saying farewell to summer g’day to the fall. While in Europe we are enjoying the first days of spring, summer’s nearly out in New Zealand! On Saturday 18th April the locals will be enjoying home talent such as Fat Freddy’s Drop and international stars like Nick Warren from Global Underground. Those not in that part of the world can also enjoy the festivities on Friday night before the festival and on the Sunday after, with guest DJs and surprise guest playing at Sandwiches and streamed live on Awdio.com.
