Rote Sonne Munich’s most avant-garde electronic music club celebrates its 3rd birthday with three events that over this weekend. The festivities start tonight with UK dubstep producer The Bug and local DJs Noe Knockout and Tomm! On Friday night the music gets more minimal with a live set by DBX aka Daniel Bell as well as the Berliner sounds of T. Raumschmiere and DJ Kaos. On Saturday the crazy click house producer Noze hailing from Paris plays live with DJ sets by Brothers’ Vibe, Anette Party, Lester Jones and Matze Cramer. Enjoy & Listen LIVE on Awdio.

California based Steve Aoki aka Kid Millionaire is the personification of what a DJ needs to do these days to get by. He has got self-marketing done to a fine art. His label Dim Mak records helped British pop group Bloc Party get known as well as importing the likes of Klaxons, scanner, Whitey and Mystery Jets. His clothing label Magic was launched in February he launched his own headphones ‘Aoki headphones with WESC as well as being involved with an NBA videogame, he hangs out with Hollywood celebs. Does this man ever sleep?

Ellen Allien has become an important figure on the techno/house scene in Berlin. Her own imprint, B-Pitch Control records has seen not only her development as a music producer but has played host to artists such as Kiki, Silversurger, Modeslektor or Sasche Funke. She has recently released Boogybytes Vol4 a mixed compilation album including tracks by Ricardo Villalobos, AGF and Sasche Funke. The big news is that there is a new solo album ‘Sool’ due for release on the 24th May which has already got rave reviews.

Philly based DJ and Producer Josh Wink brought back the sound of acid house back in 1995 with his still very play listed track ‘Higher State of Consciousness’, which has remained a must-have record in any self-respecting Dj’s box. Not to mention ‘Don’t Laugh’ (it’s the track with a contagious loop of someone laughing over a techno beat) which has also remained a classic. He now runs his own label Ovum Records with King Britt. Wink is invited to spin one of his unpredictable sets at Montreal’s gay hot spot at the popular Overdose Thursday night event.
