Just confirmed: Calvi on The Rocks live on Awdio

Calvi on The Rocks is an annual festival held on the beautiful island of Corsica. This is the high point the summer season for Parisian clubbers who go down South, get their bathing suits on and dare to bare their bare flesh on the beach by day and dance in flip flops by night. This year the 3rd to 6th of July promises the sounds of Phoenix, Klaxons, Ellen Allien, Superpitcher, Yuksek, James Murphy, Arnaud Rebotini and Friendly Fires. It has just been confirmed that Awdio.com will be streaming some of the festival live, so don’t book your holiday just yet

Ukelele magic

Once upon a time, there was a lovely blonde coiffed with a rockhawk and dressed like a vintage princess. She lived in the enchanted land of neo-vintage pop singing songs and skipping pebbles. Then, came along ‘Sally Luka’, the loveliest ukulele in all the land and they became friends instantly. Together they make beautiful music and mesmerizing lo-fi folk-pop melodies. As “Uni & her Ukelele”, they’ve opened for the likes of James Brown, Huey Lewis, Kid’s in the Hall’s Scott Thompson, Ray Charles, The Four Tops, Tower of Power, Coco Taylor, Sean Hayes, and Jollie Holland.
