To celebrate 15 years of delicious sounds, the Berlin  based restaurant and club, Cookies, have released a compilation called ‘Our Dancing Memories’. The Cd features 16 tracks played at the club between 1994 and 2009. It’s available at selected stores in Berlin as from today so this is hot property! In the meantime Awdio addicts can here what’s happening at Cookies stremed live on most nights of the week with local and international DJs spinning the best of house, minimal, electro and rock.

Amsterdam is going crazy this weekend, what with the Amsterdam Dance Event taking over the whole city. Jimmy Woo have booked some top names over the next couple of days with the British duo Audio Bullys mixing there on Thursday night. The remix of Nancy Sinatra’s ‘Bang Bang’ became a club hit a couple of years back bringing these bullies worldwide recognition.

Saturday night in Berlin to finally see what Cookies is all about. Krikor from Paris was in the place spinning to a mixed but enthusiastic crowd. 10 out of 10 for the bouncers for being so welcoming!

No the 70’s new wave group from Sheffield haven’t made a come back, this is something much better! The excellent live and club named after these new wavers, (or perhaps after the famous café in Zurich which was the inspiration for the pop group) in Edinburgh is now streaming live almost every night on Awdio.com. The program at Cabaret Voltaire is a diverse mish-mash of live concerts early on in the evening and club nights every night of the week.

Every Thursday night it’s ‘Sick Note’ featuring indie and electro carefully selected by local Indie kids Clash! and Spies in the Wires DJs as well as live bands on an indie/rock tip. This is a night where Kate Nash, the Horrors, Spektrum and Jamie T happily rub shoulders (ok not in the flesh but almost…)
