DJ and producer Anthony Rother’s label Datapunk has become one of the most prolific labels on the vocal electro/techno scene in Germany. Artists such as DJ Hell, Boys Noize, Billy Nasty and Sven Väth have released tracks on this label. Tonight, four of their most active producers will be mixing at Fuse led by Mr Rother himself. Expect dark hypnotic sounds.

The German brothers Alexander (Ali) and Sebastian (Basti) Schwarz are Tiefschwarz. They decided to start producing their own tracks after 6 years of Djing and promoting, and launched their own imprint Continuemusics in 1996. They now run Souvenir Records with French partner Arthur Vélasquez and haven’t looked back becoming important figures on the international house scene. Tonight it’s Basti who mans the decks with Fuse resident DJ Pierre.

Derrick Carter is one of the pinnacles of the 90’s generation of Chicago house music. He has stayed loyal to the genre creating a solid reputation with tracks such as ‘Love Me Right’ in 1987, but more so with the help of tracks signed to Cajmere’s and Felix Da Housecat’s respective labels Relief and Radikal Fear. He later signed to the Organico label and later started with the live band South Patrol Orchestra. Despite his worldwide fan base he has made the conscious choice to remain loyal to the underground.

Michel Amato aka The Hacker hails from Grenoble in France and his massive success is partly due to his collaboration with fellow artist Miss Kitten. They surfed on the electro-clash wave in 2001 travelling the world with their double act. These days The Hacker holds his own, touring as a DJ and producing heavier techno inspired sounds. His DJ sets have become known for their hypnotic appeal for those who like the darker side of electro en house.

Brussels’ mega club Fuse invites the German label Pokerflat to take over the main room with their own brand of electro and minimal house. Steve Bug, minimal house producer originally from Bremen, is back from in Europe after touring Japan, Australia and the US. He has been busy with his new projects Steve Bug & DJ T, Bug & Tanzman and Steve Bug & Clé. His sexy and hypnotic minimal house sets have won him a reputation throughout through the world. Dan Berkson hails from Chicago and his classical musical education has been an asset with releases on labels including Mood music, Movim and more recently Crosstown rebels. He will be performing live.
