Aka ‘Midimiliz’, Spirallanz and ‘The Delta’ Arne Schaffausen and Wayan Rabe hail from rural Hamburg. The release of ‘Spoonertrack’ and ‘Zu Fub’ on James Holden’s Border Community label brought them to the forefront of the growing minimal scene in 2005.

Glaswegian based Alex Smoke released his second album ‘Paradolia’ on Soma Records. His minimal, dubby, yet undeniable groovy live sets are worth experiencing as he has a knack for getting the crowd into a sweaty frenzy and keeping them there during the whole of his set. He’ll be accompanied by another artist signed to Soma; Vector Lovers (now living in Berlin) whose sound is more experimental and melodic, but still maintains that Soma groove.

Pharoahe Monch, rap artist and producer hailing from New York started his career in 1991 with Prince Peotry as the group Organized Konfusion. After a stint on the label Rawkus as a solo artist he then went on to release the album ‘Desire’ in 2007 on Steve Rifkind’s label SRC. His discretion and original style has let him to work with the likes of J Dilla, Anti Pop Consortium, Pete Rock, DJ Spinna, Macy Gray, Sergio Mendes and Amy Winehouse.
