With Christmas just around the corner, it’s a perfect time to enjoy the gospel inspired house music of Jersey, USA born ’King of gospel’ Kenny Bobien. Not the usual image of someone on the house-music scene, as this singer, songwriter and producer is also a Pastor at his church. When he’s not looking after his family and his church community he has produced uplifting tracks such as ‘Hanging with the homeboys’, ‘You are my friend’, ‘Brighter days’ and ‘Reach’. Never mind The Sex Pistols here’s Glen Matlock

Tonight (Friday 11th December), Glen Matlock who was once a teenage Sex Pistol, will be playing songs from the legendary British punk band The Sex Pistols. He needs little introduction, as well as penning the anthem Pretty Vacant, arguably the most famous punk song ever, Glen wrote the music to all the Sex Pistols classics, including Anarchy In The UK and God Save The Queen. Slum Village live in Paris tonight

The Detroit based hip-hop collective Slum Village have undergone a lot turmoil with the death of Jay Dee in 2006 and then the recent death of drummer Baatin this summer. But they have survived this and his brother T3 and Elzhi have decided to keep the music flowing. Their Villa Manifesto EP is due out in 2010 but you here their freshest sounds live from La Bellevilloise at a concert organized by French collective La Rafinerie, and of course live on Awdio.com tonight!
