Paris based duo Gildas Loaec and Masaya Kuroki aka Gildas & Masaya aren’t how you would imagine such hot property at first glance, but they certainly have reached the height of the hype. They first opened their very low-key fashion store in central Paris ‘Kitsuné’ and then began producing compilation CDs to add some spice to their shop and clothing label. Read more

This led to some very successful talent scouting (Digitalism, Klaxons, Simian Mobile Disco and Hot Chip) and the Kitsuné label was born. One thing led to another and the pair soon starting being booked all over the world for their DJ talent, based on no nonsense party tunes crossing all genre boundaries with the same simplicity as their fashion collections. On Tuesday night (1st September, 7pm Paris local time) the ultra hip shop Colette has invited them to stop by for a 2 hour set to launch their new exhibition ‘From Tokyo to Colette’.
