Just a band?
Actually JustABand are more of an electro duo than a band, but hey it’s a catchy name. Tom deluxx and StellA hail from the Bordeaux in France, better known its fine wine than its music, this city in the South of France is starting to export more than grand crus (Strip Steve, Adam Kesher). Think big synths, saturated bass-lines and a smattering of lyrics in accented English. Their remixes haven’t gone unnoticed either, and with a remix due out soon for popular British dance act La Roux they are won’t be just a band for much longer. Are they trying to make a sexier remake of the deodorant ad with the guy whose pits are so wet, they’re almost jets? Nice poster though. I won’t forget to tune in tonight.
